Terrorists assassinate MP on Hama-Salameyeh road

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists have assassinated a Member of Parliament from Hama province, media reports said Wednesday.

The sources clarified that the MP Waris al-Younis was martyred when terrorists opened fire at his car on Hama-Salameyeh road last night.

Another civilian was martyred as he was driving his car on the same road at the moment of the attack on the MP’s car, according to a police command source.

The Martyr al-Younis was born in al-Sabbora town in Hama countryside in 1969.

Last year, terrorists from the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’ [known as Daesh in Arabic and as Is or ISIL or ISIS in foreign media] assassinated the MP Mejhem Ibrahim al-Saho on Der Ezzour-Palmira road a few days after they kidnapped him near al-Sekhneh area on the same road.

The MP al-Saho was born in Hjin town outside Der Ezzour in 1963.

Over the past three years, foreign-backed terrorists have assassinated several academic cadres and clergymen.

The US, France, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Qatar support terrorist groups operating in Syria.
