Russian Food and Humanitarian Aids Arrived in ALatakia

LATTAKIA, (ST) _  A Russian plane loaded with 17 tons of food aid including baby food, sugar, canned food and other humanitarian aid arrived yesterday at Martyr Basil al-Assad airport in Lattakia, provided the Russian government and people of the Russian, the Russian Empire Palestinian Orthodox Society and the Syrian-Russian society.

 

In a statement to reporters, the governor of Lattakia Ahmed Sheikh Abdul Qadir thanked the Russian people and government for the assistance given to the Syrian people, indicating that this aid will be provided to families affected by terrorism, stressing that the Syrian people are now more persistent to achieve victory, thanks to their sacrifices.

For his part, the Russian official in charge of Emergency Situations Ministry Tomashov Alexander Sergeyvić that “the Russian people regret what is happening in Syria and the suffering of its people from terrorism,” adding that the aids reveal the Russian people love, appreciation and support for the Syrian people and Syria, alike.

Member of the Empire assembly Nelly Koscova stressed that the Russian aid comes in the framework of supporting Syria’s steadfastness and is dedicated to the displaced who have been exposed to terrorism, pointing out that the Syrian people will be victorious over impeding terrorism.
