Under President Assad Auspices: Halaqi Opened two final Phases of Youth Housing and Residential Savings Projects in Homs
HOMS,(ST)_ Under the auspices of President Bashar al-Assad, and marking the 41st anniversary of the October Liberation War Prime Minister Wael Halaqi opened yesterday the two final phases of Youth Housing and residential savings and the emergency department at al-Mukharram hospital in Homs at a total value of 5.443 billion Syrian pounds.
The two phases provided for the completion of 432 youth housing apartments and 482 for housing savings worth five billion Syrian pounds while emergency department in al-Mukharram hospital includes three operating rooms,intensive care unit, and other related medical services.
During his visit to Homs governorate, the Prime Minister inspected several governmental service, health and industrial development projects, including Syrda Pharma medical factory, the Syrian-European compound for heavy industries and the modern company for glass industries in Hesia industrial city, where he stressed the government’s keenness to follow-up the implementation of approved projects on time, address work impediments and achieve comprehensive development in order to achieve social justice and stability in all regions.
Hesia’s Syrda Pharma factory produces more than 10 thousand Serum bags daily which.It meets the need of the health sector and provides employment for about 70 workers in various medical specialties while the Syrian-European compound for Heavy Industries produces about 300 turbine generating electric power annually and provides employment for about 400 workers.
The modern glass Industry company provides 110 tons of processed glass daily and ensures jobs for more than 200 workers.
In another context, the prime minister visited Ekrama schools complex which was targeted by terrorist bombing on September 1st and claimed the lives of tens of martyrs, mostly children, and called for making every effort to ensure the return of students to school immediately after Eid al-Adha holiday.
