22 of biogas production units in 3 provinces now in service

 DAMASCUS, (ST) – 80% of 22 biogas production units in 3 provinces are now in service as to reduce environmental impacts and reduce the burning of crop residues, Director of Agricultural Extension- engineer Jamal Farroukh said.

These units help to provide electrical power for farmers he added.

 The ratio of anti-frost implementation methods reached 42% compared to 28%, as the ratio of modern irrigation 48% compared to 43% last year, he explained.
