PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources have confirmed the death of many terrorists during today’s operations outside Aleppo, Homs, Quneitra, Daraa, Lattakia and Damascus.
Terrorist groups in more than 23 areas in and outside Aleppo were targeted and several weapons-laden cars plus hideouts for terrorists were destroyed there.
The Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that the military leader of al-Nusra Front in Aleppo- dubbed Abo Ammar, was killed in clashes with Syrian army in Handarat area in northern countryside of Aleppo.
In northern countryside of Lattakia, Syrian army pounded a hideout for terrorists in Salma town and destroyed many cars equipped with heavy machineguns for them in towns of al-Kom, Dwerin, al-Mghereyeh and Tertyah.
More vehicles for terrorists were destroyed in Der al-Adas, Tal al-Mahs, Aqraba and on Ghezlan farms-Othman, Jasem-Alyeh and Jasem-Inkhel roads in southern Daraa province.
On the other hand, Syrian army repelled two infiltration bids by terrorists into al-Waer farms and into al-Mekhtareyeh and al-Saen towns in Homs countryside.
Another infiltration attempt by terrorists into a garrison east al-Salam highway on the outskirts of Khan al-Shieh farms in Damascus countryside was foiled by Syrian army.
Many terrorists were killed and injured during the infiltration attempts.
In Quneitra countryside, Syrian army struck terrorist organizations’ sites in Ein al-Basha, Kom al-Basha, Nab’a al-Sakher, al-Samdaneyeh al-Sharqeyeh, al-Hejje and Ofania.
423 gunmen surrender
In another development, the Syrian TV channel said that some 423 gunmen from Der Ezzour, Homs, Hama, Damascus and its suburbs turned themselves in to competent authorities under reconciliation process.
