Syrian Arab army eliminates 11 Libyan mercenaries in Idlib, clashes with terrorists east Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Well over 11 Libyan mercenaries have been killed by Syrian army in northwestern province of Idlib, as clashes erupted between the army units and terrorists east Damascus.

A military source declared on Thursday that Syrian army eliminated dozens of terrorists, including 11 Libyans, and destroyed four Pick UP cars equipped with heavy machineguns for them in Jabal al-Zaweyeh outside Idlib.

The source added that Syrian army obliterated hideouts for terrorists in al-Taman’eh, Taftenaz, Khan al-Sebel, al-Hamedeyeh, Kafr Sejneh, T’om, Wadi Sakhri and Maarret al-Noaman in Idlib countryside.

Other terrorists’ hideouts in Tal Salmo, Em Jrin north Abu Duhur in the same province [Idlib] as well as in Mansoura, Kafr Hamra and Tal Ref’at in northern Aleppo province were struck by Syrian army.

Syrian army also targeted terrorist groups in several areas outside Hama, Daraa, Lattakia, Quneitra and Damascus and warded off terrorists’ infiltration bid into Abo al-Alaya town in eastern countryside of Homs where many terrorists were killed and injured.

A clash flared up between army units and terrorist groups on southern highway from the direction of Zamalka, Erbin, Harasta and Jobar east Damascus.

While in the western countryside of Damascus, Syrian army targeted a headquarters for the armed terrorist groups’ leadership and their sites in Darayya farms.

Many terrorists were reportedly killed and injured there.

3 leaders from al-Nusra Front killed

Three ringleaders belonging to al-Nusra Front were mowed down in the ongoing military operation in northern countryside of Lattakia amid reports of a fresh advance made by Syrian army in the same province.

On the other hand, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen TV channel reported that a leader in the so-called the ‘Hazm’ Movement, known Omar Mousa, died by detonation of an explosive device in his car outside Aleppo .
