Seoul,(ST)- Syrian boxers, who took part in the 17th Asian Games, were whitewashed from the event as they did not live up to expectations losing their bouts to opponents.

Mohammad Ghusun failed to clinch a bronze medal as he lost 0-3 to his opponent from Uzbekistan.

Hussein Masri and Alaa Eddin Ghusun, Ghusun’s teammate, were also whitewashed as they to advance to the second round.
