5 hurt as Kashkol and Jaramana suburbs hit by mortar rounds

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE,(ST)_Almost five civilians were wounded Monday by mortar attacks on Damascus suburbs of Kashkol and Jaramana, a police command source said.

The source clarified that a mortar round-fired by terrorists- hit near fuel station in Kashkol suburb, wounding four civilians and causing damages to several cars at the scene.

Last Thursday, three civilians were wounded by mortar fire on the same suburb.

In Damascus suburb of Jaramana, some seven mortar rounds landed in quarters of Karm al-Smadi and al-Jam’eyat where a civilian was wounded and several cars, shops and houses were damaged.

Yesterday, a mortar round struck al-Qaryat quarter in Jaramana suburb, which is located on the eastern edge of Damascus, wounding two girls.

The US, France, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Qatar support terrorists operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
