Syrian Arab army recaptures Adra city northeast Damascus, targets terrorist organizations’ leaders in Aleppo, Lattakia

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military source has said Syrian army regained control of Adra al-Ommaleyyeh city, about 30 km north-east Damascus, after a qualitative operation.

The source added that Syrian army killed many terrorists there, while the remaining terrorists fled to Duma area which is a stronghold for them and it is located west of Damascus suburb of Adra.

Now, Syrian army is combing the city and clearing out explosives planted by terrorists..

In December 2013, terrorist groups entered the city of Adra al-Omaleyyeh and committed brutal massacres against civilians there.

Five days ago, Syrian army launched a wide-scale operation in Damascus Suburb of Adra al-Balad, which is part of Adra city, and made a swift advance into it.  

Actually, Syrian army delivered a decisive blow to the terrorist organizations through recapturing Adra al-Ommaleyyeh city.

Hideouts for al-Nusra Front and Daesh ringleaders pounded

In another development, Syrian army pounded a hideout for the al-Nusra Front’s ringleaders and destroyed a bomb-making factory west al-Rawda town in northern countryside of Lattakia.

Large numbers of terrorists died there.

Two more hideouts for terrorists plus an arms cache for them near Kafr Roma in Idlib countryside as well as a hideout for terrorists’ leaders north Hosh Hajjo in Talbeseh area in Homs province were wiped out by Syrian army.

In northern Aleppo province, precisely in al-Bab area, Syrian army obliterated a hideout for ringleaders of the Daesh terrorist organization [state of Iraq and the Levant].

There were also military operations against terrorist organizations in several areas in Daraa and Quneitra.
