176 gunmen surrender to authorities

DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE,(ST)_Competent authorities have regularized situations of 176 gunmen and wanted persons from Jeroud and Rhebeh areas in Damascus countryside, according to the Syrian TV channel.

The TV channel reported that the situations of the 176 gunmen and wanted persons were regularized after they turned themselves in to the competent authorities and vowed not to carry out any act that jeopardizes  the homeland’s security.

Since the beginning of September, about 600 gunmen and wanted persons from several areas nationwide have surrendered to authorities under national reconciliation process.
