Syrian Arab army makes fresh advance in Hama, strikes terrorists’ hideouts in several areas

PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army presses on with a fresh advance in the central province of Hama and has struck terrorist groupings and their hideouts outside Damascus, Homs, Idlib, Daraa and in and outside Der Ezzour and Aleppo.

According to a military source, Syrian army recaptured Kaferhod town, located between Tal al-Melh and al-Tremseh in west-northern countryside of Hama just few hours after it regained control of al-Jdedeh town and Tal al-Melh west of Mhardeh.

The fresh advance was preceded by fierce clashes with terrorists.

 At the same time, Syrian army continued targeting terrorist groups in Jobar quarter near Damascus and in Marj al-Sultan and Ein Tarma in Damascus countryside where several hideouts for terrorists were pounded.

More hideouts for terrorists belonging to the ‘State of Iraq and the Levant’ organization in Hweqa quarter in Der Ezzour city and in towns of Mohsen, al-Mre’a and al-Boamro in eastern countryside of Der Ezzour were also obliterated by Syrian army.

Terrorists inside hideouts reportedly died.

In addition, Syrian army destroyed an arms cache for terrorists in Idlib countryside plus hideouts containing weapons and munitions for terrorists in Nawa and Inkhel in Daraa countryside.  

In Homs countryside, Syrian army foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid into al-Waer orchards and eliminated many terrorists Talbeseh, Taldo, al-Saen, al-Rastan, Em Sharshouh, and Wadi al-Samarmer.

Terrorist ringleaders killed

A terrorist ringleader was among the terrorists killed in Talbeseh in Homs.

In Quneitra, Syrian army targeted terrorist groups in Jebbata al-Khashab, killing the leader of the so-called ‘Jabhet Ansar al-Islam’ and three of his assistants.
