Syrian Arab army advances in Jobar battle from many directions

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have recaptured more buildings in Jobar quarter near Damascus and destroyed a network of tunnels there, according to a military source.

The source declared today that the army units continued carrying out intensified air strikes on terrorists in Jobar quarter and surrounding areas in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and advanced in the ongoing battle from many directions. 

It confirmed that the army units imposed control over more buildings and destroyed a network of tunnels for terrorists in the quarter.

Meantime,  the army units targeted several cars for terrorists coming from the Jordanian border towards towns of Khrab al-Shahm and Rafas in Daraa countryside and struck a hideout for ISIL-affiliated terrorists in Hweqa quarter in Der Ezzour province.

Another hideout for terrorists affiliated to the ‘Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant’ (former name of the IS) in Gharebeh town in the eastern countryside of Der Ezzourwas also pounded.

Elsewhere, the army units targeted terrorist groupings in several areas in Quneitra and Aleppo and outside Homs.

Many terrorists were killed and injured during today’s operations.
