Boroujerdi Blames US for Creating ISIL, Other Terrorist Takfiri Groups

Chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission AlaeddinBoroujerdi took the US responsible for the formation of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and other terrorist Takfiri groups in the region, according to FNA.

“No doubt the Americans should be blamed for the creation of the ISIL and Takfiri terrorists and they have announced many times that they are supplying these people with training and weapons,” Boroujerdi said, addressing a forum of Students’ Islamic Association in Tehran.

“The Americans do not care for the beheading of thousands of people who are killed defenselessly (by the ISIL) and this is a crime which will be recorded in the history of humanity,” he added.

Boroujerdi predicted that the ISIL which is now committing crimes in a number of Arab states will certainly be annihilated soon.

In relevant remarks on Sunday, Finnish Foreign Minister ErkkiSakariTuomioja warned against the rising threat of the ISIL for the Middle East and the entire world, and called for international confrontation against the ISIL.

“These insecurities and terrorist acts threaten the global security and we are witnessing a human tragedy in Iraq which of course can be resolved through a political trend,” the Finnish foreign minister said in joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad JavadZarif in Tehran on Sunday.

Tuomioja pointed to the instability and insecurity in Iraq, and said, “The Finnish Prime Minister (Cai-Goran Alexander Stubb) has sent me on this mission to Tehran to hold talks (with senior Iranian officials) in this regard.”

He reiterated that extremism and violence in Iraq should come to a halt, and said, “Iran and the European Union (EU) should cooperate in this regard.”

Asked about ISIL’s attack on Iraq, the Finnish foreign minister said that the ISIL is responsible for the tragic crimes in that country, and added, “We support the Iraqi government’s demand for fight against the ISIL and we should support the political and economic processes that restore stability to Iraq.”

In similar remarks earlier this month, a group of internationally-renowned elite figures warned against the rising threat of the ISIL for the region and the entire world, and called for international confrontation against the ISIL.

The renowned personalities made the warning in a cyber conference of the International Islamic Peace Forum.

The cyber conference dealt with ISIL’s recent terrorist acts in the region and the Human Rights violations by the terrorist group.

Head of Spain’s Muslims Federation Felix Mohammad Amin said that the ISIL’s criminal acts are in blatant contradiction to the norms and criteria of both Islamic and UN Human Rights rules and principles.

Mohammad Amin urged the international community to confront the criminal acts of the terrorist group which are threatening international peace and security.

SeyedZaydZaman Hamid, a Pakistani analyst and founder of Pakistan’s Think-Tank said that the ISIL is a terrorist group that has been created by MI6 and Mossad to ruin the Muslim countries from inside.

He noted that the ISIL is a US-Israeli plot to systematically destroy the Iraqi army by the Americans and pave the way for the presence of the ISIL and establishment of their state.
