DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least four civilians, including three university students, were wounded on Friday by mortar attacks on Damascus, according to a police command source.
The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that a mortar round hit Damascus University’s halls of residence in Bassel al-Assad city where almost three students were wounded.
A fourth civilian was wounded and four cars were damaged when a mortar round landed in al-Shagour quarter in Damascus.
Five more mortar rounds struck Kafr Soseh and Mazzeh quarters and Tishreen and Rabweh gardens. No one was hurt by the mortar fire.
