Syrian Arab army eliminates Saudi bomb expert plus Islamic Front’s special missions leader in Damascus countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Leader of the ‘special missions unit’ in the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’ organization plus Saudi bomb expert and Jordanian, Tunisian and Lebanese mercenaries were among dozens of terrorists killed during today’s operations in Damascus countryside, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency made clear that Ahmad al-Moghrabi, the leader of the ‘special missions unit’ in the’ Islamic Front’ organization [a terrorist organization], plus Sohaib al-Abdan, a Saudi bomb expert, and Rashi al-Refa’ee, a Lebanese terrorist were eliminated during a concentrated operation in Mahatta quarter in Zabadani in western countryside of Damascus.

Another operation was carried out by an army unit in Khan al-Sheih farms in southwestern countryside of Damascus where many terrorists were reportedly killed.

At least  15 terrorists, including 4 ringleaders, were also killed in Jorod Flita in Qalamon area, the agency said, adding that the army units foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid into Talfita town in the same area.

Progress in Jobar battle  

Meanwhile, the army units  pressed ahead with military operations in Jobar quarter near Damascus and advanced from north towards west, killing dozens of terrorists, most of them non-Syrians.

An arms depot was destroyed in the quarter, as a series of operations were conducted in Wadi Ein Tarma, Jesrin, Htetet al-Jarsh and Zebdin areas in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

Last night, the army units moved into Der al-Asafir farms in the Eastern Gouta and killed and injured over 15 terrorists belonging to the so-called the ‘Islam Army’.  

In addition, the army units warded off terrorists’ attack on Mremin and Shneyeh towns in Homs countryside and struck terrorist groupings in several areas outside Daraa, Aleppo, Homs, Idlib and Quneitra.   

Many terrorist ringleaders died and several cars for terrorists were wiped out in the strikes.
