DPEA to Participate in Exhibitions Abroad

(ST) -The Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Dr. Khider Orfali, during a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Development and Promotion of Exports Agency (DPEA), underlined the importance of work on all what would lead to the advancement of the Syrian exports to the benefit of economic activity, especially at this stage experienced by our country.

The meeting dealt with the possibility of extension of the period to take advantage of export incentives to become five years instead of two. The Board approved the organizing the body for the participation of Syrian companies in Dubai Exhibition for Food Industries “Gulfood 2015”, following up procedures to participate in the Moscow World Food Exhibition during from 15 to 18 September, acceptance the invitation to participate in an exhibition that is devoted to the Syrian products in Spain by the Spanish Naderamoto company.

The council also reviewed the procedures to participate in Syria MOTEX exhibition in Beirut. The Board of Directors asked the Syrian companies wishing to participate in the exhibition which will be organized in the Foodex Japan which will be organized by the External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Japan in March 2015.
