Syrian Arab army advances into Jbeleyeh-cement factory axis in Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have pressed forwards towards Jbeleyeh-cement factory axis in northern Aleppo province and have warded off an attack on stations in Jabal al-Shaer outside Palmyra, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a military source as saying that the army units advanced into Jbeleyeh -Cement Factory axis in Aleppo province and eliminated many terrorists there. 

The advance coincided with foiling terrorists’ attack on gas station and Syriatel station in Jabal al-Sha’er outside Palmyra where large numbers of terrorists were killed and injured.

In addition, an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in an area located between the third station and Palmyra city and seized an oil tank prepared for smuggling.

Other clashes flared up as the army units warded off terrorists’ attacks on garrisons in Khan al-Shieh farms outside Damascus and in Nahleh town outside Idlib.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the clashes.

More terrorists died when the army units shelled terrorist groupings in several flashpoint areas outside Homs, Daraa and Idlib, the agency said.

It pointed out that an army unit eliminated terrorists riding motorcycles on Jadl-Shayyah road in the northwestern countryside of Sweida.
