Syrian Arab army inflicts big losses on terrorists outside Lattakia, Aleppo and Daraa

PROVINCES,(ST)_A Moroccan terrorist leader linked to al-Nusra Front is among terrorists killed in Lattakia countryside during today’s operations that resulted in destruction of several arms depots for terrorists in the same area, a military source says.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that the army units killed many terrorists affiliated to al-Nusra Front, most of them non-Syrians, and destroyed several arms depots plus cars for them in towns of  Ketf al-Remman, al-Zwek, al-Daghmashleyeh and Saqeyet al-Kart in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Turkish and Palestinian terrorists plus a Moroccan leader linked to al-Nusra Front, Ahmad Abo Derbal, were among terrorists killed in the said towns.   

More terrorists were eliminated as the army units struck terrorist groupings in many areas  in and outside Aleppo province and outside Homs, Daraa and Quneitra provinces.

Attacks on garrisons    

The strikes synchronized with warding off terrorists’ attacks on garrisons in Tal al-Za’atar outside Daraa and in the surrounding of Kafr Shlayeh town outside Idlib.

There was also an infiltration attempt by terrorists from Jesr al-Kharab into al-Waer orchard in Homs countryside, but the army units foiled it.

A car bomb was destroyed by an army unit near Tal al-Za’atar in Daraa countryside, according to a military source.
