Military source denies US airstrikes in Raqqa city

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military source has denied reports that US drones hit sites in Raqqa city in Syria, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted the source as saying that the reports are ‘completely baseless’.

On the other hand, the agency said that the army units targeted today a hideout for terrorist ringleaders in Daraa al-Balad and destroyed a weapons-laden car in al-Shaqif area in southern Daraa province.

Many terrorist ringleaders were killed and injured there.

At the same time, the army units struck terrorist groupings in several restive areas outside Aleppo, Homs, Idlib and Damascus and in Der Ezzour province and foiled terrorists’ infiltration bid from Ein al-Bida into al-Amal farms in Quneitra countryside.
