Terrorist attack increases power cut hours in 5 provinces

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorist attack on high-voltage power lines in central area has caused increase of power cut hours in five provinces, according to a source at Electricity Ministry.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that terrorists attacked four high-voltage power lines in central area causing breakdown in some power plants and increase of power cut hours in Homs, Hama, Idleb, Aleppo and Der Ezzour provinces.

“Repair work has begun in the power plants and it could take up three days to restore supplies,” the source added.

On August 3rd, terrorists attacked the high-voltage line that feeds Daraa city with power,  causing power cut in the city for three days.
