U-16 national football team hold training camp in Lattakia
LATTAKIA, (ST) – The U-16 national football team are currently holding an –indoor training camp in the sporting city of Lattakia.
The camp is part of the team’s preparation for taking part in the Asia Cup finals due to be staged in Thailand on September 6.
“during the camp, the team will hold two friendlies against Jableh and Hutteen clubs only to know the weakness and strengths of the team ,”said Mohammad Attar, the national team coach .
Before leaving for Lattakia, the team played a friendly against the Damascus-based club Majd where they lost 0-2.
It is to be noted that 26 footballers are taking part in the Lattakia camp.
