DAMASCUS, (ST)_ President Bashar Al-Assad issued today decree No. 257.
The decree stipulates the nomination of current Premier Dr. Wael Al-Halaqi for forming the new Syrian Government.
Al-Halaqi was born in Daraa on 1964, had a university degree in Medicine from Damascus University 1987, Master degree in Gynecology and Obstetrics 1991.
On 2010, Al-Halaqi was chief of Doctors’ Syndicate, and Minister of Health on 2011.
In August 2012 he was appointed as Prime Minister.
