Syrian Arab army eliminates over 35 terrorists plus several foreign ringleaders outside Idlib and Lattakia

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have eliminated over 35 terrorists in northwestern province of Idlib plus several foreign terrorist ringleaders in northern countryside of Lattakia, according to the official news agency (SANA). 

The agency made clear that the army units eliminated more than 35 terrorists and injured others in towns of Sermin and Korin in Idlib countryside.

It added that several foreign terrorist ringleaders were crushed and a weapons-laden car was destroyed when the army units targeted terrorist groupings and their hideouts in towns of al-Durra and al-Rawda in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The army units, in addition, struck terrorists groupings in Hananon, al-Marjeh, Bab al-Nasr, Arshaf, al-Mansoura, Free Zone, al-Bab Der Hafer and al-Na’ana’a square in and outside Aleppo province, according to a military source.

100-meter long tunnel destroyed in Aleppo

The source pointed out that a 100 meter long tunnel used by terrorists in Salaheddin quarter was destroyed by the army units.

All terrorists inside the tunnel died. 

On the other hand, the army units thwarted infiltration attempts by terrorist groups into Kafrnan and Ein al-Dananir outside Homs and into Em Awsaj town outside Daraa and warded off terrorists’ attack on a garrison in Mhardeh city in northern countryside of Hama..

The military operations have continued against terrorist groupings in several areas outside Damascus, Homs and Quneitra provinces, military sources confirmed.
