Some 22 shells hit Damascus in two days

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least three civilians have been wounded by mortar attacks on al-Abbaseyen  and Yarmouk Camp areas in the capital [Damascus], a police command source declared on Thursday.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that five mortar shells- fired by terrorists- landed behind al-Abbaseyeh Hospital and in the surrounding  of al-Abbaseyen square in Damascus, wounding at least three civilians.

Two more shells landed near “al-Bashir” Mosque in Yarmouk camp in the same province [Damascus] leaving material damages without casualties, according to the source.

Last night, almost seven civilians were wounded as 15 shells hit quarters of al-Adawi, al-Mohajrin, Abo Remmaneh, Mazzeh 86 and Yarmouk camp.

Terrorist opens fire on private car

A fourth civilian was wounded today when a terrorist opened fire on a private car on Damascus-Homs highway near the ‘Rahmeh’ fuel station in Duma area outside Damascus.

A car parked near the station was burnt  out when a shell hit the area.

On July 12th, terrorists exploded a booby trap they planted on Homs-Damascus highway, wounding two civilians.

In northern Aleppo province-precisely in Maysalon quarter, a mortar fire killed yesterday a civilian and wounded three others.
