Syrian Arab Army thwarts infiltration bids outside Daraa and Damascus, eliminates 23 foreign terrorists near Aleppo Airport

PROVINCES,(ST)_Military sources have confirmed the death of 23 terrorists on the outskirts of Aleppo Airport plus 29 others at Da’el square in southern Daraa province.

One of the sources was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that the 23 terrorists killed in Aleppo province were of different nationalities.

The source added that the army units destroyed 15 cars, some of them loaded with weapons, for terrorists in an area located between al-Marjeh square and al-Salehin square in the same province [Aleppo].

“Eight more cars for terrorists and two 23mm cannons were also wiped out in Karm al-Trab and in the surrounding of al-Neirab and al-Jdedeh,” the source said.

There were also military operations against terrorist groups in Qadi Askar, Handarat camp, Tadef, al-Marjeh, Jeb al-Safa, al-Meselmeyeh, al-Qaterji, al-Na’anaee square, al-Sheikh Litfi and Africano in and outside Aleppo province.

Many terrorists were killed and injured in the operations.

Infiltration bids outside Daraa and Damascus 

Moreover, the army units eliminated terrorist group to the west of Tal al-Khedr plus 29 terrorists at Da’el square and foiled terrorist group’s infiltration bid from al-Yadodeh into Tal al-Za’atar in southern Daraa.

A military source declared that the army units destroyed 4 Pick Up cars for terrorists who tried to infiltrate into Tal al-Za’atari.

“The army units targeted terrorist groupings in towns of Jasem, Inkhel, al-Thoraya, Berqa, Othman and Selmin,” the source said.

Another infiltration bid by an armed terrorist group from Beit Tima town into Khan al-Sheih outside Damascus was also thwarted by an army unit, the official agency reported.

Foiling the infiltration bids synchronized with striking terrorists groupings in several areas in Khan al-Sheih area in Damascus countryside and in Abu Sheta area outside Quneitra province where many terrorists reportedly perished.

In a further development, the army units killed large numbers of terrorists on the outskirts of Tal al-Louz to the west of Abu ad Duhur air base and near Qminas town in northwestern Idleb province as well as in several areas outside Homs province.
