Syrian Arab army regains control of several areas and hills in Khan Toman outside Aleppo

PROVINCES,(ST)_Several areas and hills in southern countryside of Aleppo have been recaptured by the army units, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Monday.

The agency clarified that the army units regained control of the Syriatel area and hills of Bazo and al-Zied in Khan Toman area in southern countryside of Aleppo in the wake of eliminating terrorists there.

More terrorists were killed and injured when the army units targeted terrorist groupings in al-Meselmeyeh, al-Sekkari, al-Jabereyeh, Kaskes, Kweris, Beshqatin, al-Mansoura, Khan Toman, Qrasi and al-Wdihi in Aleppo countryside.

A military source said that the army unit wiped out vehicles plus 9 cars for terrorists in Andan, Hanano, Ma’arret al-Artiq and Handarat in northern Aleppo province.

Attack on garrisons foiled

On the other hand, the army units warded off armed terrorist groups’ attack on garrisons on Hama-Mhardeh road where the ringleader  of “Der’a al-Mustafa’ battalion -dubbed ‘Abo Farida’- was mowed down an armored car was destroyed. 

There was also an infiltration attempt by armed terrorist groups from Enq al-Hawa and Rhom towns into Maksar al-Hasan town in Homs countryside, but the army units foiled the attempt and killed many terrorists, according to a military source.

The source added that the army units targeted terrorist groupings in Mran town, Jabal al-Koz, al-Sam’alil, EinHsin and al-Za’afaraneh outside Homs.

Other terrorist groupings in several areas outside Idleb, Daraa, Damascus and Quneitra provinces were struck by the army units.

Terrorists loot 1100 ton of wheat

In a separate development, the armed terrorist groups looted last week several trucks loaded with wheat from al-Melbeyeh grain center in northeastern province of Hassaka. 

Eng. Ahmad al-Hasan, Director of the Qameshli Grain Branch declared that the quantity of wheat looted by terrorist groups estimated 1100 ton.
