Zoubi: Victory over Aggression is Inevitable

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Information Minister in the Caretaker Government Omran Zoubi stressed that transformations in Syria, the Arab region and the world indicate that Syria’s victory over the aggression is inevitable and only a matter of time.

In an interview with the Syrian Al-Watan daily published yesterday, Zou’bi said that : ” Arab social and political elite are well aware the size and shape of the plot, its elements and implications and the Arab street may take time to realize that Israel, which supports terrorists in Syria attack the Palestinian resistance, which means that these terrorists are the clients of Israel.

He stressed that the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip aims at undermining peoples commitment to resistance, pointing out to that the ability of the Arab and Palestinian people to challenge this aggression has become more visible, despite the security, military and political situation in certain Arab countries.

Regarding the role of the Syrian media, the Information Minister stressed that the Syrian public and private media has been an element of the battle being waged against Syria for years, pointing out that the Syrian media in all its forms managed to surpass the crisis.

The minister considered “that the size of the battle imposed on us, made it imperative to work in a certain way, including resorting to issue breaking news stories on the screen denying all of Al Jazeera and al-Arabieh channels broadcasting of false events facts.”

Zoubi reviewed efforts that have been made on creating new media platforms of different functional as well as radio stations and the achievements made by the ministry at several levels.

He noted that part of the collapse of the misleading media of al-Jazeera and al-Arabieh channels is due to the achievements of the Syrian national and private media.
