Mortar Shells Kill 3 Civilians in Zablatani Quarter in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_Terrorists have killed at least three civilians in Damascus by mortar attacks, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Wednesday.

The agency quoted a police command source as citing that two shells-fired by terrorists- struck Souq al-Hal [vegetables and fruits market] in al-Zablatani area in the capital [Damascus], killing almost three civilians and wounding six others.

Four more civilians were wounded when a shell landed near Hamish hospital in Barzeh quarter.

The mortar attack caused damages to several cars at the scene.

Last night, some nineteen shells hit al-Zablatani and al-Abbaseyen quarters in Damascus where nineteen civilians were reportedly wounded.
