PARIS-In an initiative aiming to break the siege, to challenge the unjust sanctions imposed on the Syrian Airlines and to support the Syrian economy, the Syrian community in France announced that they will organize some flights to Syria. The flights are due on August 6th to take off from several French and European cities, land in Algeria and then continue the journey on board of Syrian Airlines to the Syrian Airports of Damascus and Lattakia.
In a statement to SANA, Dr. Rima Hlefawi, a flight coordinator, said the aim was to break the siege imposed on the Syrian Airlines and back national economy. She hailed the cooperation of the Syrian Airlines and the Airlines of Algeria with the organizers’ efforts.
Syrian families and students staying in France, Italy, Spain, Britain, Germany and Holland are due to come in this journey to spend the summer holiday in their homeland.
