Velayati condemns Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza

Secretary General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening and Head of the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council Ali-Akbar Velayati in a statement on Monday condemned the Zionist regime‘s crimes in Gaza.

The statement reads, ˈAt a time when the global arrogance is following its complicated and dangerous plots against Muslims, it has fanned the flames of a sectarian war between Shiites and Sunnis to achieve its own dream.ˈ

Velayati said the Zionist regime has staged a devastating and unequal war, massacring women and children in the auspicious month of Ramadhan so as to use the ongoing atmosphere in favor of its sinister and sinister goals.

The statement called on all world Muslims to maintain their vigilance and beware not to fall in trap of the Zionist enemy and try to foil the plots by having sound understanding of realities and developments in the region and maintaining cohesion, unity and solidarity.

It said the Zionist regime of Israel should know this time that its flimsy power cannot do it any good in its unequal war because this time combatants, women and children are in the frontline of resistance in light of their courage and bravery.

Gazans never give up liberation campaign, says Sheikholeslam

Head of the Permanent Secretariat of the International Conference on Support for the Palestinian Intifadha, Hossein Sheikholeslam, said on Monday that people of Gaza will never give up the liberation campaign.

He made the remarks in a press conference to the mediapersons.

He made clear that Israeli leaders have perpetrated crimes against humanity in Gaza in the new waves of violence against the Palestinian population since July 8.

ˈIsraeli leaders have violated international law, especially the humanitarian and war laws blatantly.ˈ

He said many houses of civilians and mosques were ruined and women, children and the elderly were killed, indicating that the Israeli warmongers are deliberately eager to take the highest possible death toll on the Palestinian civilians.

They have done so to pile up mental pressure before confronting the military power of the resistance forces, he added.

The advisor to the Majlis Speaker said that perhaps the holy month of Ramadan has been chosen for the attack to pile up double pressure on the fasting people of Gaza but the Zionists were in mistake because the Palestinian people will not give up the campaign to liberate the motherland from the Israeli occupation.

He recalled former aggressions of Tel Aviv regime on the Gaza and the humiliation they suffered in the course of the war on Gaza and said that Gaza was turned into a sign of dignity of Muslims, Arabs and Palestinians, this time too not less than former experience will be observed.

He said, ˈTrue, the cooperation and silence of international organizations this time was more outstanding than before but their usual mistake is assessing ability of the Palestinian nation, resistance, the world of Islam and Arabs.ˈ
