Lahham: Zionist Aggression on the Palestinian People falls in the context of Major Terrorist War against Syria, Iraq

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ In the opening of its third special session held yesterday, under the chairmanship of its speaker Mohammed Jihad al-Lahham, the People’s Assembly (PA) listened to answers of the ministers of Social Affairs and Labor, industry and internal trade and consumer protection on issues of concern to citizens.

At the opening of the session, Lahham condemned the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of tens of martyrs and hundreds of wounded, considering that this new aggression falls in the context of a major terrorist war launched by terrorist groups, supervised by the US and Western states in the Middle East, especially against Syria and Iraq

Lahham indicated the emergence of the ” Israeli factor in this war since its beginnings as the Israeli machine of war and aggression appears with every failure suffered by terrorist groups at the hands of the Syrian army, besides other medical,military and logistics services provided by the occupation authorities to these terrorist groups.”

” Syria has repeatedly said that what is going on against us is a war that foremost serves the occupying entity and liquidation of the Palestinian issue with the help of some Arab regimes,” Lahham indicated, noting and what is happening today is a proof and evidenced by the fact that the occupation has bombed and destroyed in Gaza, while terrorist groups of the, so-called the” State of Iraq and al-Chaam ” burn the land and destroy the infrastructure in Syria and Iraq, calling on the Arab people and all national and peace loving forces and countries to mobilize their forces to counter the threat of Zionist terrorism and the terrorism practiced by the,” state of Iraq and al-chaam ” organization before the Middle East is sunk into chaos which will be catastrophic on the region and the world.

He called on all sides concerned at the executive and legislative authorities to make every effort to secure the services and basic needs of the citizens, as well as control the market and prices and prosecute market manipulators.
