Syrian Arab Army Wards off Terrorists’ Attacks on Garrisons in Several Areas, Carries out Concentrated Operations outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have killed 18 terrorists in concentrated operations in Duma area outside Damascus, warded off terrorists’ attacks on several garrisons outside Quneitra, Damascus and Idleb province and targeted terrorists planting explosive devices in Inkhel town outside Daraa province.

According to the official news agency (SANA), at least 18 terrorists from the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’ and the ‘Islam Army’ were eliminated in concentrated operations in Duma area in Damascus countryside.

More terrorists were killed and injured when the army units targeted terrorist groups in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, Darayya, al-Zabadani, Khan al-Sheih, Maghr al-Meir and in al-Qalamon area in the same province [Damascus countryside].

At the same time, the army units warded off armed terrorist groups’ attacks on garrisons in towns of al-Tiba and Ein al-Beda near al-Kesweh city outside Damascus and in al-Zebdeyeh and Rasm Halabeh towns outside Quneitra province as well as in al-Hamedeyeh outside Idleb province.

Other terrorist groups tried to infiltrate to al-Elm square in Quneitra and into Benyamen area in Aleppo province. However, the army units foiled the infiltration bids.

Three terrorist ringleaders killed

In another development, the army units targeted an armed terrorist group while it was planting explosive devices in one of Inkhel town’s orchards, killing and injuring the group’s members.

The army units also targeted another terrorist group while it was digging a trench near Tal al-Za’atar on Yadodeh-Kherbet Shahm road and destroyed a convoy of cars for terrorists on Jasem Nemer road outside Daraa province.

In northwestern Idleb province, precisely near al-Tebeh town, three terrorist ringleaders were killed and arms depot was wiped out by the army units.

The military operations continued in several areas in and outside Aleppo and outside Homs provinces.
