Syrian Arab Army Recaptures Southern Side of Em Sharshouh Town in Homs, Continues Operations outside Damascus

PROVINCES,(ST)_The southern side of Em Sharshouh town in Homs countryside has been recaptured by the army units, a military source declared on Tuesday.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as saying that the army units imposed full control over several buildings in al-Bado quarter and over the southern side of Em Sharshouh town outside Homs province.

It added that that the army units destroyed several cars equipped with heavy machineguns for terrorists in Arshoneh town.

The army units also targeted terrorist groupings in towns of al-Ghanto, Abo Hwadet, Salam Gharbi, al-Habra and Enq al-Hawa as well as in Qasr al-Sharkasi in al-Rastan , al-Sam’alil in al-Holeh and Kherbet al-Maqater in Hasyaa in the same province [Homs].

Other terrorist groups in Yadodeh town and in the western quarter of Othman town and on Othman-Yadodeh road, Yadodeh-KherbetShahm road and Daraa al-Balad in southern Daraaprovince were shelled by the army units.

A military source said that the army units pounded a hideout for terrorists in Inkhel town outside Daraa province.

All terrorists inside the hideout were reportedly perished.

More terrorists were crushed as the army unit targeted terrorist groups on Embatneh road to the west of Jaba town in Quneitra countryside and in several areas in and outside Aleppo and outside Idleb provinces.

At the same time, the army units foiled an armed terrorist group’s infiltration bid from al-Mansoura town into a garrison outside Aleppo and wiped out vehicles for terrorists in al-Atareb, al-Sheikh Saeed, Tal Ref’at,Sheikh Ahmad and Kweris in the same province [Aleppo].

Almost 20 terrorists killed in Eastern Ghouta

Last night, the official agency reported that the army units killed at least 20 terrorists from the so-called the ‘Islamic Front’ and the ‘Islam Army’ in Meda’a town in the heart of the Eastern Ghouta outside Damascus.

The agency pointed out that the army units continued pursuing terrorists in the northern farms of the strategic Mliha town and in Darayya, Duma, Harasta and in al-Qalamoun area in Damascus countryside as well as in Jobar quarter near Damascus.

On the other hand, the competent authorities seized yesterday a car loaded with big quantity of munitions in Hama province.
