Syrian Arab Army Eliminates 43 Terrorists in Aleppo City and Lattakia Countryside

PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have eliminated 13 terrorists in Aleppo city plus 30 others in Lattakia countryside amid reports of striking terrorist groupings outside Homs, Idleb and Daraa provinces.

According to the official news agency (SANA), the army units eliminated today 13 terrorists and wiped out five vehicles for them during a strike against terrorist groupings in Bestan al-Qasr in Aleppo city.

A military source declared that a terrorist dubbed ‘al-Sheikh’ was among the terrorists killed there.

It noted that more terrorists died when the army units targeted terrorist groupings in Bab al-Nasr, al-Helwaneyeh, al-Marjeh, al-Sakhour, al-Mayser, al-Intharat, al-Zerbeh, Ezaza, Rasm al-Abbod, al-Shwekha, Mayer and Karm al-Jabal in and outside Aleppo province.

At the same time, the agency quoted another military source as saying that the army units crushed 23 terrorists in towns of al-Rabe’a, al-M’etmeh and Saqeyet al-Kart in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

Bomb expert plus ringleader from al-Nusra Front killed

One of the al-Nusra Front’s ringleaders, As’ad Zriek, plus a bomb expert, Ahmad al-Sos, were among the terrorists killed in the above mentioned towns, the source confirmed.

It added that seven more terrorists were killed and three cars equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed by the army units in Der Hanna, Ketf al-Remman and al-Qasab towns in Lattakia countryside.

Convoys of cars for terrorists destroyed

Two convoys of cars for terrorists were destroyed on Inkhel-Semlin road and to the north of Inkhel town in southern Daraa province, the official agency said, pointing out that the army units warded off terrorists’ infiltration bids into military posts in Daraa al-Balad and into Othman town in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Elsewhere, the army units struck terrorists groupings in more than 14 areas outside Idleb and Homs provinces.

Yesterday, the army units carried out a series of operations against terrorist groupings outside Damascus and Qunietra provinces where many terrorists were reportedly perished.
