HOMS,(ST)_ A car bomb killed at least 6 civilians and wounded 40 others in al-Nezha quarter in central Homs province, the official news agency reported on Thursday.
The agency quoted a source at the province of Homs as citing that terrorists exploded a car bomb today evening inside a popular market at a junction leading to quarters of al-Nezha, Wadi al-Dahab and Ekremah al-Jadedeh.
Initial reports said that the death toll was six civilians and there were children and women among the 40 civilians wounded by the explosion.
On June 13, terrorists blasted a car bomb in Wadi al-Dahab quarter, killing seven civilians and wounding 55 others.
In another development, terrorists killed a civilian and wounded seven others by a missile attack on al-Zahra’a quarter in Homs city.
Another civilian was martyred and 12 others wounded when eight shells-fired by terrorists- hit quarters of Esh al-Warwar, al-Tadamon, Rekneddin and Bestan al-Dor in the capital [Damascus].
