DAMASCUS, (ST) – The Taekwondo Federation is set to hold the national championship on June 22.

Scores of athletes from Lattakia, Homs, Tartous, Damascus , Damascus countryside, Quneitra and Suwaida are due to take part in the three-day event.

Al-Jalaa sporting hall in Damascus will be the venue of the event.

Meanwhile, the Taekwondo Federation has received a cable from the Asian federation on Syria’s participation in the Open Korea championship.
