Al-Zou’bi: “Together for Syria” Exhibition, a National Media Message to People in Syria and Abroad

DAMASCUS, (ST)-On the occasion of electing President Bashar Al-Assad for a new constitutional term, the Ministry of Information and the Arab Establishment for Advertisement yesterday held a documentary exhibition titled “Together for Syria” at the Sheraton Hotel in Damascus.

Economic, services and education institutions representing the public and private sectors are taking part in the two-day event.

Information Minister Omran al-Zou’bi told journalists that the aim of the exhibition is to affirm the Syrian people’s confidence that Syria will be better than before at all levels including the social, economic, financial, security and military ones.

“We want to deliver a message that Syria is the lifeline of Arabism and that nobody in the world can defeat, humiliate or destroy this country,” the minister added.

He pointed out that the participation of several media, economic, artistic, banking and insurance institutions in this exhibition is a national media message to people inside Syria and abroad.

Ilias Murad, Head of the Journalists Union, said the exhibition was important for reactivating the economic and social life in the Syrian society despite the extraordinary circumstances Syria has been experiencing.

The displays, which represent all categories of the Syrian society, “stress the continuity of life in Syria, a life that no one can stop.”
