Syrian Arab Army wipes out Munitions Depots in Aleppo, Kills Large Number of al-Nusra Front-linked Terrorists outside Lattakia and Idleb
PROVINCES,(ST)_Army units have wiped out several munitions depots for terrorists in northern Aleppo province and eliminated a large number of al-Nusra Front- linked terrorists outside Lattakia and Idleb provinces, the official news agency (SANA) reported on Tuesday.
The agency quoted a military source as citing that the munitions depots of the terrorists were destroyed in al-Halk and al-Sheikh Lutfi areas in Aleppo province.
The source confirmed the death of many terrorists in Khan Tuman, Erbid, Qadi askar, al-Mansoura, Ard al-Mal;lah, the industrial city, Daret Ezze, Shwehneh, Bistan al-Bash, Ebtin, Hritan, Andan, al-Marjeh, Mare’a, al-Na’anaee, Free zone, Handarat, Tal Msebin, Blas, al-Hader and Hananon on today’s operations.
Meanwhile, the army units targeted terrorist groupings in al-Rastan, Talbeseh, al-Seltaneyeh, Salam Gharbi, Kherbet Jarad and Kharbet Sehrej outside Homs province and destroyed two ammunitions-laden trucks for terrorists there.
A military source said that terrorist’ infiltration bid into Maksar al-Hsan town in the eastern countryside of Homs was foiled by an army unit.
Another infiltration bid by terrorists into a deserted building in Inkhel town in southern Daraa province was also thwarted.
Many terrorists were killed and injured in the confrontations.
While in the northern countryside of Lattakia, the army units crushed terrorists of al-Nusra Front in towns of al-Daghmashleyeh, al-Zwek and Saqeyet al-Kart.
3 mortars plus 4 cars for terrorists destroyed
“Moroccan, Tunisian and Saudi terrorists were among those who were crushed in the said towns,” a military source said, noting that the army units destroyed three mortars, a car equipped with heavy machinegun and another car loaded with 4 missiles.
Two more cars equipped with heavy machineguns were destroyed in Saraqeb area outside Idleb amid reports of killing almost 11 terrorists belonging to al-Nusra Front in the same area.
A large number of terrorists were also hit there.
