Ministry of Agriculture Receives Agricultural Equipment from Hamad bin Khalifa Foundation

The Ministry of Agriculture received a gift from the Hamad bin Khalifa Foundation as part of Qatar’s efforts to support Syria in various fields. The Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Amjad Badr, said in a statement to SANA that the foundation sent several agricultural equipment, including 25 tractors and 25 plows, to support the government agricultural sector in Syria.

Minister Badr stressed the importance of strengthening Syrian-Qatari relations to upgrade the agricultural sector, expressing the ministry’s gratitude to the Qatari foundation for this generous initiative and its efforts in supporting the development process in Syria.
On May 14, the foundation sent a Qatari aid plane carrying agricultural equipment and 60 tons of food aid, as part of Qatar’s efforts to support Syria.
