Syria, Turkey to sign MOU in media sector soon 

DAMASCUS, MAY.17, (ST)-Today, a phone call was held between Minister of Information Hamza Mustafa and the Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidency, Prof. Fahrettin Altun.

The call addressed several issues related to media and communication work and various challenges, particularly countering misinformation and disinformation. They also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation.

Prof. Altun expressed Turkey’s supportive stance and its willingness to assist in advancing the media sector in Syria and providing the necessary expertise. It was agreed to hold a meeting soon to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
