Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Qabawat met with a high-level delegation from the European Union, which included Peter Wagner, Director of the European Commission’s External Policy Instruments Service, Michael Ohnmacht, Chargé d’Affaires of the European Union Delegation to Syria, and Alessio Cappellani, Head of the Middle East Section at the European External Action Service.

The meeting discussed the importance of the European Union’s support for the ministry’s future plans in the areas of the return of displaced persons, social protection, and building local capacities and expertise.
