Trump: President Al-Sharaa is a Good and Strong Man
U.S. President Donald Trump once again praised Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa today, describing him as a man with a strong background.
According to the American news network CNN, Trump made the remarks during a meeting with business leaders in Qatar, saying: “I met with the new leader of the country (Syria), he has a strong past, and I think he’s going to be great. We’ll see. He’s a strong man, and I think he’s good. Let’s see what happens. We’ll give him a chance to stand by lifting the sanctions.”
Trump’s comments underscore his repeated efforts to publicly praise and admire strong leaders, stating: “You need a strong background to succeed in this. You can’t be a weak person. If you’re weak, we’ll just be wasting time.”
