UN Deputy Special Envoy: Syria’s Diversity Is a Strength, Reconstruction Must Be Syrian-Led

In a post on platform X, UN Deputy Special Envoy for Syria, Najat Rochdi, stated that Syria’s rich diversity is one of its greatest strengths and that building its future requires the joint efforts of all Syrians.

She noted that the lifting of sanctions presents a historic opportunity for Syria’s reconstruction, emphasizing that this process must be Syrian-led and inclusive.

Rochdi added that international support is more crucial than ever.
