Minister of Local Administration discusses with a UN delegation enhancing cooperation in the humanitarian field

Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Mohammed Anjarani, received a delegation headed by Ms. Edem Wosorno, Director of Operations and Advocacy at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).

This meeting came within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the Syrian government and international organizations to coordinate humanitarian efforts, particularly in the areas of supporting local administration and improving environmental services.

The two sides focused on discussing mechanisms for providing humanitarian aid and overcoming obstacles to ensure aid reaches those in need, according to the economic and social challenges facing Syria.
