Syria, Saudi Arabia to enhance cooperation in renewable energy

DAMASCUS, MAY.10, (ST)_Today, Chairman of the Electricity Authority, Khalid Abo Dai discussed with an investment delegation from the Saudi Alfanar Company ways to enhance cooperation in the field of renewable energy and the establishment of solar and wind power plants.

The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy in Damascus, focused on investment in the electricity sector, the necessary requirements, and the challenges that may face the project.

Abo Dai was quoted by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) as saying that the meeting also addressed training of Authority personnel, carrying out maintenance work, and providing advisory services.
