Syria launches the first export digital platform for trade

DAMASCUS, MAY.10, (ST)-The “Nahda Tech” conference kicked off in Damascus. It is the first event of its kind in Syria, and it was attended by Minister of Communications and Technology Abdul Salam Haikal, according to Al-Ikhbariya Syria Telegram channel.

The conference witnessed the launch of the “Hudhud” platform, which is the first Syrian platform for exporting local products to foreign markets.

This platform supports the national economy and enhances digital access for Syrian products globally.

According to the website of the conference, its mission is Born out of a careful study of the needs of the technology sector in Syria, Nahda Tech is an initiative aimed at bolstering the technical and soft skills of workers and entrepreneurs in the tech sector in Syria through facilitating bootcamps, networking and training opportunities aimed at capacity-building and upskilling the local workforce, encouraging innovation entrepreneurship and connecting technology professionals.
