Syrian Community in Italy Organizes Rally in Solidarity with Syria

ROME, (ST) – The Syrian Community and students in Italy organized a rally in Rome in solidarity with their homeland and with the Palestinian people.  Hilarion Capucci, the Archbishop of Jerusalem in Exile, participated in the rally.

The participants condemned the ferocious imperialist campaign launched against Syria and the whole region, slamming some countries for their financial support and arms supply to the terrorists and foreign-backed mercenaries to kill the innocents and destroy the state properties in Syria.

They also condemned the killing acts committed by the Takfiri groups and the mercenaries against the people of Syria.

The participants hailed the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the sacrifices of the Syrian army to defend the homeland in the face of the global war launched against it, expressing confidence in winning victory.

They reiterated their support to the Palestinian people and their just cause.
