80 displaced families return   from the north of Syria to their homes in Homs

Within the framework of the continuous efforts to secure the safe  return of the displaced, the city of Homs received on Thursday  two convoys carrying two forcibly displaced from the Syrian camps, who were forced to leave their homes after their displacement by the former regime.

 

The coordinator of the return trip, Khalifa Hakimi, from the “Waqfa Farah” Foundation, which organized the two convoys in cooperation with Homs Governorate clarified in a statement to the SANA correspondent that the trip, which includes about 80 families, is a continuity of previous trips that transported displaced families to their original homes.

 

He stressed that the Foundation provided buses and trucks to transport the returnees and their belongings, and food baskets were provided that each family is enough for a month in addition to providing clothing for them when they arrived at the city of Homs.

 

The campaigners of the return convoys of the displaced, which were supervised by the “Waqfa Farah” Foundation, started on February 18 of this year, and the number of families returning reached about 1,800 ones arrived at their homes safe
