EU condemns recent violence in southern Syria and calls on all external parties to respect Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity
The European Union has strongly condemned the recent attacks and clashes in southern Syria, which have resulted in a large number of casualties.
In a series of urgent statements, the EU emphasized that the Israeli attacks and incursions in Syria endanger the transitional political process and risk undermining regional stability.
The Union also stressed that these incidents highlight the importance of maintaining governance and protecting all residents of the country under the transitional authority.
Furthermore, the EU called on all external parties, particularly Israel, to respect Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, warning that continued aggression could escalate sectarian tensions and further destabilize the region.
