Druze community leaders reiterate their commitment to Syria’s unity and sovereignty and Reject Foreign Interference

In a special statement to the Syrian News Channel, Sheikh Hamoud al-Hanawi, spiritual leader of the Druze community expressed his congratulations on the launch of the new channel.

Al-Hanawi emphasized the importance of not compromising the national cause, noting that the Druze community belongs to the Syrian Arab Republic and that the homeland is a source of honor and belonging.

He added that Sweida has a long history of patriotism, and that the people of the province will not deviate from the national framework.

Al-Hanawi pointed out that the current situation is moving toward calm and stability thanks to cooperation between officials and the Sheikhdom.

For his part, Laith al-Balous, a leader in the “Men of Dignity Movement,” emphasized that the movement rejects any attempts to secede from Syria, emphasizing that this is the position of the Akl Sheikhdom.

He pointed out that there were agents of the Iranian project and Hezbollah who tried to tamper with the security of the region.
